Tutorial video: How to make Rilakkuma cookies

So this past weekend I made Rilakkuma and Korilakkuma cookies for the first time, and since everyone who saw pictures seemed to really enjoy them I thought I'd make a tutorial!

Watch the above video to learn how I did it! πŸ˜€ I got the Rilakkuma mold from here.

Rilakkuma cookies!!

The Korilakkuma sugar cookies didn't turn out as planned and I was crunched for time, so I just made a huge batch of Rilakkuma gingerbread cookies. These were for a cookie exchange party with the local Atlanta egl group, so I had to make around 24-47, I went for 40! It was quite a challenge but really fun to do. Look at all those bears!!

Testing out the new Flickr app to use vs this Instagram craziness!

Next time I hope to do a large batch of Korilakkuma sugar cookies since I understand how the dough works a little better. She is so cute!

What I wore to the cookie exchange

And for the curious – this is what I wore to the party!

Dress and bow: Cinema Doll by Angelic Pretty, Rocking horse shoes: Lolita Lola, Striped tights: Leg Avenue, Simple blouse: WHBM, Heart purse: Btssb, Heart necklace: Tarina Tarantino, Cropped coat: Betsey Johnson

Let me know if you try out the recipe! I think it would be really cute for a holiday party. ❀ Also, here is an old post I did on how to make Totoro cookies if that's your thing:
